The Environmental Dynamics Lab is run by Dr. Eli Lazarus (bottom right).

Housed in the Geography & Environment Unit at the University of Southampton (Southampton, UK), the Environmental Dynamics Lab examines a variety of processes that affect the surface of the Earth. We use field and remotely-sensed observations, numerical modelling, and laboratory experiments to investigate how and why landscapes change. Drawing on quantitative and conceptual tools from complexity science, we are especially interested in gaining insight into geomorphic pattern formation and coupled human–environmental phenomena.

To see what the lab is working on, thinking about, and drawing inspiration from, please check out the blog and our Twitter feed (@envidynxlab). Thanks for visiting!
